I took my 4 year old daughter today to their urgent care because her fingers were swollen and in pain upon waking up. The girl who first attended us in the patient room was short and acted as if she did not care to be there, did not introduce heeself or her title. She took down the notes on the reason of our visit and left without saying a word. Ten minutes later a guy comes in stops in the entrance way talking to somebody in the hallway regarding him claiming he was not the one ordering cotton swabs for what seemed like a minute as if we were not inches away from him in the room, waiting. Finally decides to come in without an introduction of himself or what he was going to do. I asked him if he was the doctor and his response was that he was just the guy who puts them on and takes them off. Okay? My 4 year old is fearful and sensitive as most 4 year olds and upon seeing the saw she begins to freak out, crying hyseterically. A medical professional would have taken the time to speak with their patient and explain the procedure. This mans professional response was to complain and state how this was going to be a difficult one in a rude and dry manner. He does not instruct us in any way or how I can assist to hold my daughter. He begins and my daughter is crying in fear and he just tells her to stop crying in an aggitated manner really annoyed with my daughter. The cast is removed and my daughters skin shows signs of breakdown due to moisture. We had given her a shower on Monday and it got wet, however instructions were not given on what to do when it got wet. They never advised us to go into the office the next day or what to do. So i looked up information and saw that it was advised to blow dry it on cool temp. We did it until we felt it dry. My actions were not enough and that was not made obvious until this morning. Needless to say the guys attitude went from bad to worse. As he did not speak one word to me after that, and stating comments loudly like "yeah, that was my reaction to". Making me feel as if he was judging me and as if I was a bad parent. After wrapping my daughter up with ointment and a new splint they all left the room without a word to myself. I proceeded to leave with my daughter when they stop me and advise to wait for a new appointment card. The lady who first assisted us did not look in my direction, but stuck her arm out with the card. The staff is absolutely terrible. No manners, no patience with children, and no respect. Please, please do not take your children to this office. We are not the first to have bad experience with the staff and that guy is mentioned a previous review regarding an older woman. This was on the urgent care side of the center.Follow up: we took her to Dr. Osmani to review the arm and he was an nothing but the best and provided the best of care. He was amazing. I would recommend him to anyone!
