I started a new job and while they have day one coverage, I do not have the information yet for the policy since it just started. I was told by my employer and the insurance company they could use the info and pay for the appts after I got the insurance card. However, they refused to see me, refused to even let me talk to my doctor, and refused to fill my prescription, all because I couldn’t pay the FULL amount upfront. I even offered partial payments and they declined. It is sickening when doctors choose money over the health of their patients. Sickening that money is more important than relieving suffering for people, as doctors do.
