I scheduled an appointment to talk to him about possibly moving my pain management from another state to him, and I specifically asked about weather he would be able to maintain my current medications until we could find a solution that worked for my back. I was told that I could move my pain management from another state to him and he would continue it until we found a solution for it. What actually happened was I moved it to him and he immediately told me that he wasn’t going to do what he previously said, and he also wanted to put me on an anti depressant, even though I have never had depression. I told him I was not going to take an antidepressant off-label, and he didn’t care, he kept talking about it. He kept referring to a neck surgery that I had except I have never had neck surgery, I have had two failed back surgeries including fusion and nerve damage, but he couldn’t be bothered to read the notes in his chart. He went out of his way to have me move my pain management (which I had been on for 7 years) to him while telling me he would continue treatment only to remove the only things allowing me to get out of bed and go to work. If you want to hear how Stanford is the best school on the planet, go here but if you want a Doctor who doesn’t lie to you, who actually treats you, or a Doctor who actually cares about more than his California education, then go see someone else because this doctor specializes in screwing hard working people over and breaking his oath to do no harm.
