The experience at this massage spa was disappointing and riddled with various issues. It warrants no stars.
Despite going in and talking to the lady about scheduling a couples massage for Monday at 11 am, we encountered several complications upon arrival. Firstly, the staff attempted to collect payment during the booking process, despite our preference to pay after the service. Upon arrival on Monday, we were informed that couples massages were not available, contrary to our initial arrangement and signage. We were assured that another therapist would join to accommodate us, yet we were ultimately placed in separate rooms and left waiting. After an extended wait of 25 minutes, my husband came out to see what was going on. I was receiving a massage and assumed that the other massager was there in the other room with my husband. Apparently I was getting a massage from the sole available therapist. During her session, the therapist answered multiple phone calls, dividing her attention and compromising the quality of the massage using one hand to massage and the other to take phone calls.
Subsequently, another individual (male) entered my room, while I was half naked on the table seeking a massage appointment, further adding to the confusion and discomfort. He was told to return in an hour which further made me think my husband was receiving his massage. But, no she was double booking and not being completely honest with people booking services.
This, along with my husband waiting for over 25 minutes prompted me to conclude my session prematurely. Upon payment, an unexpected additional fee was charged, followed by a request to swipe the card again, raising concerns about billing practices. These collective experiences underscored the unprofessionalism and miscommunication prevalent at this establishment. I get language barriers which is why we tried to make sure to bridge that gap the best way possible and asked for clarity when we thought there was misunderstanding.
In conclusion, the spa's inability to fulfill booked services, coupled with poor customer service and billing practices, warrant caution for potential patrons.
