Although I love Dr. Montoya, I am very disappointed in the communication with the staff. I have tried several times to get what I thought was a simple yearly blood work done and have had nothing but issues.
1st, I showed up for my appointment only to find out that they canceled it, and did not call me to let me know. Not only did I waste my time, but gas as well. I drive clear from Moncks corner to summerville just to see Dr. Montoya. Then I was sent to the urgent care to have blood work done, but when I arrived there, they did not have any orders for me to have the blood work done.
So here I go again.. I called Dr. Montoya office and rescheduled for another time, which was over a month later.
Now here we are again, I called the office to see of there was someone in to do the lab work, and thankfully i did because they did not have anyone available and again directed me to the urgent care and said they have my order ony file that I can go there.
I again show up at the urgent care and guess what... no records for orders on the file.. so I again had to call Dr. Montoya office and finally had the lady at the urgent care talk to someone at Montana's office so I can get my lab work.order in.
This is the worst experience ever, waste of time, money and gas, when it should be just a simple yearly blood work routine.
I feel Dt. Montana's office staff should really work on their communication skills and how they relay order/messages and how they speak to their clients.
I'm so frustrated with this office I'm seriously considering a new doctor.
