Rarely do I have to wait long to cash out and when presented with an uncommon situation (various payment methods, discounts, special requests, etc) the employees almost always know what to do and you won’t have to wait for them to find a manager to come sort out the situation. The only thing that keeps me from having Publix as my primary source of groceries is the higher cost of the items, I typically only go there for specific items only found at Publix (especially deli items) or for convenience to save time. The prices tend to be higher by a significant margin compared to competitors. But if the higher cost isn’t a factor for you the. Publix is certainly the place to be to take advantage of a much nicer store, being clean, carts that are smooth and quiet, very friendly and helpful staff, and certain things only Publix carries, then the benefits are worth it.
