When I first moved to the area, I specifically asked for recommendations of offices who were good with patients with anxiety about their dental appointments. I have been to both the 73rd Street and Lakeside offices and both have been wonderful! From the reception and admin team to hygienists and dentists, each person at Premier Dental has been very kind and as a healthcare provider myself, I can tell that they all make strong efforts to connect with their patients and make them feel comfortable. They also always offer water while I wait in the lobby and at my most recent appointment, I was even offered a pillow or blanket during my service, which I thought was above and beyond!
Whenever there have been billing matters, they communicate clearly and have helped me pay over the phone when needed.
During services, they are very open to answer questions for me and have given me helpful guidance in how to improve my dental care routine at home. They always have good flavor selections for toothpaste for my cleaning and for fluoride. Most recently, I had a dragon berry fluoride so I thought it was cool that they take all aspects of patient experiences into account!
During cleanings and appointments, the hygienists and dentists both walk me through all of the steps that they are going to do and I feel that they work hard to minimize the risk of any pain or discomfort. They check in with me often to make sure I am doing okay.
I need some orthodontics work as I have a permanent retainer that shifted and my teeth are becoming slightly misaligned. They always offer to support me in an orthodontic evaluation or treatment plan but they are never pushy about it! (Financially, it’s just not a good time for me to start a regimen and they always take “no” as an answer thr first time instead of some dentists I have been to who have really pushed it and made it feel like they were trying to make a sale).
Overall, I highly recommend Premier Dental, especially if you are someone who gets nervous at the dentist. It is obvious that the staff at both offices are passionate about their work and care about their patients.
