As a patient of many doctors i have learned to make my appointments as the first patient of the day so I don't wait for a doctor to examine me. I made today's appointment month in advance in order to be the first patient of the day. My appointment was for 9AM. I arrived at 8:40 early incase there is any paperwork to fill out. I was the first person there. A few minutes later other patients arrived i was speaking with another patient for Dr. Raginski. We were both there for routine check ups. We were escorted to the exam rooms and were notified the doctor was caught in traffic and he would be late. I waited in the room until 9:30 and I asked if there doctor had arrived ,the receptionist said he was still stuck in traffic.
At 9:45 the doctor came into the room I was in grabbed his lab coat and left the room. I asked his receptionist if I was the first appointment she said I was the first appointment. She did not say if there was an emergency or anything to delay my appointment. A few minutes later the doctor came into the room an got a tool and walked out into another room, he was attending to another patient. I said to the receptionist why was he with another patient before me ?? She just looked at me and could not answer. At that point it was 9:50 almost an hour past my appointment time, I said I could no longer wait to.see the doctor. I had other appointments. If I had to cancel my appointment in less than 24 hours doctors charge you for the missed appointment because their time is valuable. Well my time is also valuable. Patients have had enough of inconsiderate doctors and rude staff.
I will be contacting my insurance company and complain about the professionalism of the doctor. We the people have had enough of inconsiderate doctors. Our time is also important.
