Read MoreSo grateful to this team. I've been SO sick for a week & finally couldn't bear it anymore at 9pm on a Monday (of course, I finally gave in at night, like the terrible patient I am). After checking in, the registrar roomed me slightly early so that I could lay down (don't worry, I didn't cut). The MA took my vitals & history without making me move out of the only position that gave me any release & understood what I was trying to say when explaining my symptoms. The provider was very kind & listened intently, validating my concerns & assuaging some before I could voice them. He was also very efficient & thorough, ensuring that anything he could do to help me would be done. The nurse who did my bloodwork & IV was very good, even though my veins were shrunken from dehydration, & she was wonderful at anticipating my needs & following up on any requests in a timely manner. All members of my care team checked in with me regularly while I waited for test results, fluids, etc. & effectively communicated any updates to one another, so I didn't have to repeat myself. It's been a very long time since I've met a medical team with so much compassion, skill, & efficiency. Thank you so much for taking care of me! (And apologies to the registrar: I meant to thank you on the way out, but completely forgot.)
