I came here seeking medical attention only to be turned away. The lady literally said "we won't get paid to see you" because it wasnt my primary care physician's office. My insurance got messed up and my assigned primary care doctor is 90 minutes away... they take my insurance and have an oath to not turn people away. I filed a grievance with bcbs of Illinois and they are looking into this establishment. News flash, you would still get paid and ethically you can't deny anyone medical attention. I ended up in the emergency room. Oh yeah, they offered to see me for $80. Why do I have state insurance then?If I had $80 extra right now, I would buy private insurance. One of the doctors was standing right there too. Not sure how they can justify turning people away, especially with an empty waiting room. I see a difference in how people with private and state insurance are treated, I've had both. It's sad. I hope no one else gets turned away.
