Read MorePenn is hands down the best and Dr.Vaccaro is quite possibly the best cardiologist I have ever encountered in the medical field from a nursing perspective (no, I am not a nurse at Penn), as a patient, but most importantly as a cardiologist to my Father. When I decided to come to Penn, I had been told by my fathers prior cardiologist at Virtua that my Dad was a ticking time bomb and that there was nothing more they could do. Dr.Vaccaro took my Dad’s case, performed his research and testing with due diligence, compassion, professionalism, and overall amazing ability to not only come up with solutions, but being informative, patient, listening, and explaining things in ways my father understands and appreciates. My dad is not one to trust doctors easily but Dr.Vaccaro has managed to make my Dad believe in him, trust him, and respect him. Dr. Vaccaro is amazing, knowledgeable, down to earth, and worthy of all respect, not only because he is superb at what he does but because he treats his family and patients with respect, integrity, and like someone who genuinely cares about his patients.
