I have had physical therapy at Peak Physical Therapy in Garland on three separate occasions, in 2023, 2024 and now 2025. These have all been VA referrals. The first 2 times I was treated for sciatica. Spoiler alert, my Primary Care miss diagnosed my condition. However, the Team, Jeff, Matt and Sam, did everything possible to lessen my pain and get me walking. Unfortunately my condition just got worse.
Fast forward to 2025. After I, finally, got a referral to an Orthopedic surgeon, at the VA, I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my right hip. I received a total hip replacement on 7 August. After 2 weeks of home PT I started working with Peak Physical Therapy, happily, again. Jeff, Matt and Sam all welcomed me when I came back. My progress has been nothing short of amazing. The adage "pain is weakness leaving the body" fits my sessions. I can see and feel the improvement. I have gone from riding a mobility scooter to being able to walk with a walker and get around at home with canes. I am blessed to have 2 more months with Peak and have no doubt I will be walking unassisted by CHRISTmas.
Hopefully I will not need physical therapy, again, anytime soon but if I do I pray it will be with Jeff, Matt, Sam and Yaneth at the front desk keeping everything running efficiently at Peak Physical Therapy in Garland!
God bless and Semper Fidelis 🇺🇸
