OIC Dental Center in Rocky Mount

I wish I could give this place a better review after being a client for about about 9 years. I'm 2023 I had some personal issues cause me to have to cancel and I was not able to go back. Due to some issues with a crown that was placed I tried to go back to them. I was told that I would have to go through the process of being a client. So after trying to get the information that they wanted I tried to call back only to get a very rude person that told me that I couldn't get a appointment until after the first of the year even though they claim to do emergency.I said fine and setup a for Jan 7 at 11:00.Fast forward I call them to double check because I didn't get a notification for the appointment .I was told my appointment was on January 21 at 3:00.I would never set up appointment for after two because of taking the bus. I asked for if they had appointment for another day or day earlier or something so I can get my teeth checked because of pain. I have yet to have an overall exam done except for any all I can get are emergencies. I was given Saturday but I didn't know if I could get there but due to no bus on the weekends where I live. Later on I was able to get appointment because I was able to get transportation for that day and I set up for 8:30. I called to see if I could get find out for some pain meds until I could get to my appointment because my gums are on fire and I couldn't sleep. I was told only to take over-the-counter stuff and that and they wouldn't even let me look into it and and so I said fine I go can you double check to make sure that appointment is still scheduled and she kept interrupting me and sa yes yep that is appointment. Without checking the appointment cuz she didn't even know my birthday or that I would have to say my name and birthday and I don't even remember saying my name or birthday.I I mean very rude interrupting me like wouldn't even check in on it just kept saying yes yep that's it and it was just the rudest customer service I've ever seen. I got frustrated and hung up on her because she was not even listening to me and about half an hour later they called and told me they were canceling both of my appointments. Because I was referred to buy a specialist by emergency dentist I seen for some pain that Dr Blount will not even touch but will never never referred me to. I was told by her that she there was nothing she could do about it. So because I was referred to the dentist for that issue which is TMJ that badly affects my jaw where it cracks and even hurts to open my mouth. That they will not see me and I have to find another dentist I think it's more for the appointment that they're pissed off at me because I question why they're rude and why they won't even look into appointments. I am reaching out to the dental association and filing a complaint against this office in pending on what they say I will be getting a lawyer and probably suing the office. Just because they don't like me they're denying me service. I am not as stupid as I think I am. If you can I would try to go to a different dentist and do your homework there are plenty of good dentists out there that are not in Rocky Mount. It's a shame all I see is supposed to be helping people that are low income and that need help with their dental issues but they turn people away because they don't want to deal with issues and and don't pay attention. They could have dealt with this a lot better and maybe I could have two I mean but when you keep getting interrupted and when you're trying to say something that is very rude and they need to they all need to learn a little bit better customer service but hey this is Rocky Mount and there is a lot of Rocky Mount just don't care. And Dr Blount needs to stop practicing medicine if she doesn't want to deal with things.

The lady that replaced an old filling in my lower right back tooth let go of the spinning drill tool and it stabbed into the back of my tongue causing bleeding and pain for weeks. I will never go there again. Absolutely terrible experience. I've never before in my life been stabbed in the tongue before until going here for dental work. It took weeks to heal. Nightmare.

Took two of my kids to their appt a few weeks ago and the Hispanic lady name Denise seemed as if she did not want to wait on us. Very unfriendly with a major attitude. We will not be returning. She is going to cost this place to loose a lot of business.
