I have visited the office mostly for annual wellness checkups to complete discount incentive for my health insurance. I am a very healthy person overall so I don't visit often but when I do, it is quite fast and I always feel like there is very little attention given. Each time I called to schedule an appointment for this health screening, I was never given instructions before arriving. This happened multiple years where I did not receive any instructions to prepare, and the screening included bloodwork, and therefore avoid having my blood work results be unreliable. Alas, they did not give me any information and I showed up unable to get results needed.
On another occasion I asked about a family disease which is not apparent in me, but I asked to see if I could somehow be tested for the genetic disorder. After very minimal questioning (I should have been worried when they barely asked questions or took any notes), They referred me to a clinic which, when I arrived, could not help me in the slightest and they had to refer me to a different clinic which served an entirely different purpose - almost as if North Phoenix Internal Medicine didn't know what I would need in order to be tested. I had to pay for both visits. Very frustrating to say the least.
I am generously giving two stars for the mere fact that they have at least been polite, but I wouldn't say kind, welcoming, nurturing, caring or any other attribute you would hope to find from a primary care physician.
