Update:
I went back to Nikki Moon Salon for a follow-up appointment with Brynn, the manager—and I’m so glad I did. She reached out to me after hearing about my concerns and truly went above and beyond to make things right. From the moment I sat in her chair, she was incredibly attentive, warm, and understanding. She listened carefully to everything I wanted and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire appointment.
Brynn took her time to ensure I was fully satisfied, checking in with me at every step. Not only did she fix my haircut beautifully, but we also had a great conversation, and she even gave me helpful hair advice tailored to my needs. This experience completely changed how I feel about the salon. I felt truly cared for and respected as a client.
Thank you, Brynn, for your kindness, professionalism, and skill. You made all the difference.
(Original review for context below.)
I chose Niki Moon Salon because of all the great reviews, but my experience was really disappointing. I booked with a lower-tier designer, so maybe that played a part—but that doesn’t excuse poor service. When I booked, I selected “yes” for enjoying conversation, but the stylist didn’t talk to me at all. The vibe was cold and awkward.
While she was cutting my hair, I could already tell she didn’t have the same skill or confidence as other stylists I’ve been to. When I got home and looked closely, my haircut was uneven. I felt miserable and honestly just wanted to get out of there. I’m not the type to complain face-to-face, so I stayed quiet—but I won’t be coming back.
Even the complimentary matcha tasted like water. ONLY thing that I liked from here was shampoo but NOTHING ELSE. For a place with so many glowing reviews, this felt like a letdown in every way. I’ll be going to a different salon to fix my hair—such a disappointment.
