I may be a little biased because I have booth rented at New Phases for two years now.. but that in itself is a testament to how good it is.
I had the pleasure of being trained by Shanna for Microblading and Powder Brows in 2022 and for Teeth Whitening in 2023. All of her trainings are very thorough. She has a passion for the beauty industry and for permanent makeup that fuels her to give the best education, in order to lift up the industry in our area. Even when there is a ton of new information to learn, she breaks it down into manageable sections and makes sure you're comfortable and able to retain that info.
On top of that, she is a wealth of knowledge that you can tap into even after your training. She does not just teach you the basics and send you off to "sink or swim". She can become a mentor that you're able to go to for advice and feedback long after your initial training. As long as you are willing to receive it, implement it and practice it, Shanna is willing to help you get there.
As a person, Shanna is friendly and down to earth. She is easy to get along with and wonderful person to rent from. As any good salon owner needs to be, she is still able to hold boundaries and stand her ground when needed, but she does so with tact and kindness. She has created a truly incomparable atmosphere and community in our salon. I am proud to be a team member at New Phases Cosmetics and I'm incredibly thankful for that Google search result a few years ago that landed me on her website. 😉
