I was looking for a new dentist in my area and found Natomas Crossing through my work. They had positive reviews which always a good impression. I decided to give them a call and make an appointment as a new patient and the receptionist took down my information and advised would receive a email for new patient information for my upcoming appointment. I thought would received forms within that week so called them and explained so the receptionist emailed them. It was a lengthy form so filled them out and didn’t worry about it. My appointment was getting closer and received reminder and another email for patient information when I had already filled out. Later that day received another call from the receptionist asking for my information was a little hesitant since had already provided that info when initially made appointment . She said the person wasn’t here. That seemed odd. I was thinking about canceling but decided to keep the appointment to give them a chance. I went to appointment and when walked in was surprise how open with the natural light coming in and looked very clean and was received with welcome greeting from the staff. I checked in and waited to be called. I didn’t wait long and the person introduced herself and said as a new patient they do a tour of the facility and welcome gift. I thought was a very nice touch and thoughtful for a dental. I was surprised how big the facility was inside. She explained history Dr. Harris Dental practice and services they provide like washing stations where you can brush your teeth while you wait, billing staff, sanitation department , ortho, staff dentist and finally walk me to my room. It was very clean. She ask me personal questions what I did living and my previous experiences with dentists. I like the fact they ask what was must important for me is Trust. Which I thought was different sounded very genuine and caring. I told her was nervous about X-ray because my mouth small and my gums are sensitive and it really hurts when they stick a rubber in my mouth and makes me nauseous. She was sympathetic and apologetic they took multiple pictures more than once because couldn’t get good image. After that ordeal my felt little raw. I told her my gums bleed whenever get a cleaning. The dentist was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant and went over my concerns and history. She checked my gums and numbers were good and look very healthy but they did bleed quite bit. I also told her had bad crown done from previous dentist she created a treatment plan. Overall experience I felt very comfortable with how was treated. That’s why gave them 5 star They are very compassionate and caring dentist and staff.
