If I could leave a negative star review for this clinic I would. I just had an initial appointment with this clinic earlier this morning and felt so belittled by the dr. I did not feel welcomed or empowered in that visit at all. The PAC that I saw was Victoria Schooler and she walked into the room with an attitude of shame and guilt and made me feel to stupid. She made me feel as though I knew nothing and talked down to me the entire visit. She mentioned that "She just wanted to get to know me better" but how can that be true when you treat your patients and potential patients with such belittlement and gaslight them. If you want to feel empowered in your pregnancy and as a women, do not see Victoria. I am very well educated in pregnancy and I feel very competent as a pregnant women but I felt disregarded and talked down to in the entire visit. She is not for her patients making conscious decisions about what services they want to opt into or choose not to partake in. She made it very clear that she only helps long time patients which makes me feel as though each patient is simply a number and a financial gain to make money off of each visit. I have been seeing a midwife for prenatal care but needed to have FMLA forms filled out by a local OBGYNs office and I thought it would be no big deal to meet and get those forms signed. She mentioned that she will not fill out the form unless I become a patient she sees regularly which furthers my point of feeling like I am just there for her paycheck. Her bedside manners were terrible and if she truly cared to get to know me as a patient rather than gathering money from me, she would have treated me like a human being. I would never treat people so terribly or discriminate other people or make them feel less than simply because they may not agree with me or choose differently than I. I would not recommend seeing Victoria at all. I cannot speak to the many other physicians in this clinic. I am specifically talking about my experience with Victoria. What is weird is that this clinics intake forms confirm that I can decline any of the services that they provide within the clinic. I would say that is a bold face lie because that was not the case in my appointment today. If I do not want cervical checks, I can decline those and I should not be made to feel dumb for declining those services. How can a physician treat potential people like a pay check rather than human beings. If you want to be looked down on for having differing opinions, go to this clinic. I know my rights to decline anything I do not want to opt into but Victoria treated me as though I was dumb and stupid and ignorant. Do your research and find a clinic with providers who support you as a women and will support you throughout your pregnancy and post birth because this is not the place where you will go and feel empowered. I will not be paying for any services from today as they refused to provide me with what I needed. I walked out of the clinic on my own terms due to the way I was treated and I hope everyone knows that you can do that with any provider any time. You are paying them to see you not the other way around and no physician should make you feel less than just because you may not opt into all of their services or not agree with certain things.
