Now, this is a conflicting review. Although I had a decent experience with my combination massage, my friend did not...
It was the idea of two others to visit this spot. I never took massages so I went in to this without much thought. My friend on the other hand goes to massages regularly. My experience was pleasant...although it hurt because my body is so tense and knotted, the after felt relieving. At the end, my friend came out first and informed the front desk that his massage was cut short than the 60 min. he was paying for. In addition, due to this and the attitude of who seems to be the owner, he was tipping accordingly. Then, everything blew up...the owner started giving aggression on why she is not being tipped higher. She started yelling at my friend that the tip was not enough. Then, she essentially kicked him out and said no tip is necessary as it was too little.
Tipping culture has become a mandate in the US and many places even add a service charge to cover it. Post-COVID made it far worse...last time I checked, tipping is on the customers discretion based on the quality of your service. In many countries, they do not ask or accept for tips. When you are rude to your customer regardless of the situation, that comes across unprofessional and obligated that you deserve something for "nothing".
