I've been a loyal client of Mayra's for over 6 years, and I couldn't be happier with the exceptional service she provides. Her expertise, attention to detail, and warm personality have always made my hair appointments a wonderful experience. From my first appointment, I was impressed by her ability to tame my naturally wavy, frizzy mane with her amazing blowouts. A few years ago, I started getting her keratin treatments, and now my hair stays smooth, shiny, and more manageable long after I leave her chair. I'm thrilled that she has opened her own studio, and I'm excited to continue receiving her outstanding service as her business grows. I highly recommend Mayra for anyone looking for a skilled stylist who is committed to her clients' satisfaction.

I have been coming to see Mayra for the last 2 years and I don’t care driving more than 30min to see her! I finally found someone that understands my hair and really get the color like I like it. She uses great products and really cares for your whole well been. I get also my facials and my wax with her and it’s fantastic. Strongly recommend her!

If you are in the North Austin area looking for a new hairstylist, MJ Holistic Studio is the place to be! Mayra has been a hairstylist for 10+ years and is incredibly talented in her craft. My hair has never looked better and healthier than when I started booking at MJ’s studio. The space is so inviting and I am always greeted with some warm tea and top notch customer service. Mayra is the best and I have become a customer for life.

I needed to write this review because Mayra is such an amazing stylist. She has worked with me over the past 8 years through different styles, hair colors, assessing my light olive skin hues. Always providing the results I seek. She is very professional, always providing caring advice about the care of my hair.
The salon has a relaxing vibe and the boutique side has a cute variety of accessories and clothes for a quick shopping experience.
Mayra has provided the best in class hair experience with a scalp massage, aromatherapy with essential oils (lemon grass, eucalyptus,etc). I always leave feeling beautiful, relaxed and rejuvenated. I am so lucky to have found her.
