Read MoreThis Review is only in regard to Dr Franco-Lipat, Maria, pediatrician Not all of Metropolitan to be clear. This Dr was recommended as the best Dr for my biracial daughter who is Filipino and Black, because she was a NICU survivor my 9 year old lives with some health issues due to her early arrival and I hoped Dr Lipat could help however as a first time patient I scheduled an appointment with the receptionist who at first understood that I wanted the latest appt time, gave me 2pm as I have work and my child has school, Now we get to the appt date and I get a phone call stating the Dr has an emergency can they reschedule? Fine! No problem please just put it for the same time 2pm, she says ok. Here we are 10/25/24 1:45pm I take my child inside to the appt that should be scheduled for 2pm and I’m told it was at 1pm ( the receptionist Fd up the time) so a sweet woman who is the first floor receptionist tried to ask the Dr if she could still see my daughter because it wasn’t our fault it was their receptionist and she says Flat Out No! Reschedule! mind you my child ran out of meds she needs an epinephrine pin asthma pump etc and she treated us as If I was a walk in or if I scheduled my own time! Needless to say this was not a good experience for me with my daughter for her first time. I left work and pulled my child from her studies early for the Dr to treat us like that, I loved Dr Cassia but switched to have a woman Dr for my daughter and Dr Franco-Lipat Maria IS NOT IT! She left a bad image of herself in my mind.
