Do not go here!! My husband went here and they gave him Addipex with a TBI! Addipex adverse reaction is seizures!!!!!!!!!!!!! She did not educate him on the seizure part even though she claimed she did. So now we are in the ER to see what is causing him to have seizures at night(aka only thing changed on his life was that medicine). He had one 5 years ago and now he has had two since stoping the meds a day in a half ago. On top of it she told us to stop cold turkey because it wouldn’t be in his system anymore! WRONG AGAIN the pharmacist and now the paramedic said that medicine stays in your system for 4 days after your last dose. As well as ER doctor! She also put the blame back on my primary care doc since he saw him shortly after getting on the pill. Once again not taking responsibility no surprise since it is health care in America. BEWARE they herd you in like cattle and do some test but in my personal opinion/experience are not educated enough. She will say I have 20 year of trauma experience extra extra but I do not care. She is advising people and not truly weighing the risk of prescribing that medication. Highly discouraged you from going there especially since she kept telling me this isn’t a black box label drug. I do not care if there is a severe risk of seizure you are responsible for saying that especially to a patient with a brain injury. This is TBI education 1:1 and she acted like she knew so much since her husband had a minor TBI compared to my husbands whole frontal lobe damage and bruise for the rest of his life. Highly disappointed and would not recommend and would give them a 0 out of 10.
