I haven’t been to the dentist in 8 years, due to feeling embarrassed about the amount of teeth I had lost over the course of my life. I felt I would be judged by those with the perfect teeth and smiles. Finally, I had to go in for another cracked tooth. I sent online messages to several dentist in the area, asking if they took my Medicare Advantage plan. Patty at Meadowlark Dental was the ONLY dental clinic that emailed me back the same day! (The others I never even heard from.) I was impressed by her friendliness and willingness to help me get in to see Dr. Heyes as soon as possible.
Mikayla the dental assistant is so sweet and kind, making you feel immediately welcomed. I never once felt any judgement by her as she took X-rays and we discussed my dental issues. Dr. Heyes was very kind and left it up to me what options I wanted to choose. I never felt any pressure to choose a more expensive option over another.
I will soon have a new smile and set of dentures that I am actually able to afford! I never thought that I’d be able to afford dental care, and yet their prices were very reasonable. I’m lucky to have found a place that took my Aetna Medicare Advantage and I’m going to be able to get my full upper dentures for about 800.00 for my out of pocket cost. I’m very happy that I finally have a dentist I can trust and not be afraid to have regular dental care, now.
