I’ve been to multiple Massage Envy locations and have noticed a recurring issue, but this particular visit was the worst yet.
I was taken back about five minutes after my scheduled time. I understand that there’s a built-in 10-minute window for consultation and changing, but when they get you late, then you still have to change/consult, that time eats into your actual session. This has happened before, and while I’ve learned to let it go, it’s still frustrating.
The real issue? My massage ended 10 minutes early. That’s not just cutting corners—that’s taking away actual paid time. When I brought it up to the front desk, THREE employees stood there and said absolutely nothing to address it. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Just blank stares. I generally would send this feedback directly to the location instead of posting publicly, giving them the chance to address it, but I already gave them that opportunity.
The massage itself was okay- I know they are hit and miss and that’s a risk I take. However I should at THE VERY LEAST get my full time. I still left a tip (which I regret), but I shouldn’t have felt obligated to after losing 10 minutes of my session and receiving zero acknowledgment from the staff.
Massage Envy needs to do better. If this is a common practice, it’s unacceptable. Customers are paying for a full session and deserve to receive it.
