I wouldn’t even give this place one star if I didn’t have to. I needed a medical clearance three weeks before my surgery, but the office couldn’t accommodate me until two weeks prior. To make matters worse, when I arrived, the front desk couldn’t find me in their system. They explained they were transitioning to new software and hadn’t transferred all the patient data, which delayed the process.
Once they entered my information, they were unsure about the copay amount, causing further delays. When I was finally called into the room, I waited an unusually long time for the doctor to arrive. This was my first time meeting her, and unfortunately, her demeanor was unwelcoming—she didn’t introduce herself properly or make any effort to establish rapport. At one point, she left the room abruptly without excusing herself, which I found very unprofessional.
After the bloodwork, I was told an additional test was needed, which I understood was important for my surgery. However, when the results came in, no one contacted me promptly. I repeatedly called the office for an update, only to have my calls ignored. I was being screened by then! When I used a different number, they finally answered. The manager offered excuses, saying the doctor was unavailable or out of the office.
After two more days of waiting, I had to go in person to get the results and the necessary paperwork. This entire experience was unnecessarily stressful during an already nerve-wracking time. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic bedside manners was disappointing.
I live and work nearby, so this clinic seemed like a convenient choice. However, I’ll now have to find a new doctor—someone who values their patients and provides the care and respect they deserve.
