Read MoreI have had neuropathy for 20 years and have felt it becoming progressively worse over these last few years. Medication has offered little relief . While visiting my daughter in GA. I saw a TV segment on laser therapy being used to treat neuropathy. Desperate to find anything that could help me, my husband went online and saw that Dr. Wichman offered this treatment in CT. On my first visit Dr. W evaluated me and tested feeling in my feet. I had no feeling when he used his instruments. Dr. Wichman said the treatment could not cure the neuropathy but may offer some relief. I underwent a 10 session treatment. The laser treatment was painless and after the 5th-6th visit I started to notice a difference.The tightness and pulling went away and I actually had significant relief during the day and less numbness and more mobility. After my 10th visit I was re-evaluated and where I had no feelings previously, this test result was completely different. This time each time Dr. Wichman applied his instruments I realized I was not imagining the marked improvement. I felt each one. The sharp pulling had gone away, the numbness was lessened by 50%. I was thrilled. I would recommend any patient suffering from neuropathy to give this treatment a chance. Dr Wichman and his staff are pleasant and knowledgeable and helped me a great deal.
