Absolutely terrible experience. After driving 30 minutes out here, battling for parking, and walking all the way over to their office; the Doctor refused to see me because I was 10 minutes late & they needed to go to lunch within the next 30mins. (They shouldn't be booking new patient appts before lunch, if they can't honor a grace period.) But okay, fine. I accepted it & let them rebook me.
We had a family emergency today, and I had to rebook again. I called before my appointment time, and they told me the Doctor won't work with me because I've canceled appointments twice... I was never informed of this "rule", I wasn't a "no-show", and I am absolutely disgusted by this behavior. I made this appointment as a follow-up after an ER visit. I understand the inconvenience it causes when a patient cancels, but wow. To turn away someone in dire need of treatment over something out of my control.
In the end I'm grateful, I would hate to have spent a dime at this office, only to find out later down the line that their patients are disposable to them & they have no empathy for the sick. Who would want to have that kind of doctor responsible for their healing & an invasive surgery anyways?
