Husband and I have been here for a few visits for cleaning as well as fillings. Front desk is very friendly, they knew me by the name as soon as I walked in, which does not happen often nowadays. My hygienist was very informative and did a great job cleaning even though I did have to ward off a couple of sales pitch from her. After my cleaning, Dr Madany came briefly to do evaluation, he was friendly. I had fillings done by Dr. Madany and his associate separately. They both did great job with the fillings. I barely felt anything during the procedures. However, I did think that Dr. Madany lacked bedside manner. I talked to him to confirm my treatment plan and he barely looked at me and talked to me. It didn't feel great to be treated that way after waiting for over an hour to be seen. I work as a nurse so I understand that sometimes schedules can get delayed, so I didn't mind waiting given that this only happened once.
I only gave them 4 stars because of what the dental assistant told me after Dr. Madany did my filling. During the drilling process, Dr. Madany said, "I got her tongue" to the dental assistant, so I understood that my tongue was nicked. I do have a small mouth and Dr. Madany was not the first dentist to nick my mouth during the drilling process. So, even though I don't prefer it, I understood that it can happen. After Dr. Madany left, the dental assistant helped me up and removed the bite block from my mouth. She then proceeds to tell me that I bit my tongue during the procedure, so it's bleeding slightly. First of all, Dr. Madany himself said that he got my tongue. Secondly, I had the bite block in the whole time, so how?! I'm not a big fan of people who are not transparent, especially healthcare workers.
