Absolutely fantastic! I took my preteen daughter to get her first big haircut today and Lisa Marie was amazing with her! She was so unbelievably friendly and let my anxious daughter be in complete control of everything, adding zero pressure to make her go outside of her comfort zone. My daughter was getting last minute jitters, but as soon as we walked into the salon this stylist put her right at ease. She checked with her every step of the way to make sure it was exactly what she wanted— my girl felt so comfortable with Lisa that she ended up choosing to have way more cut than I would have predicted, and her hair looks amazing! We were incredibly lucky Lisa just so happened to have a cancellation this afternoon and that she was able to give my daughter the perfect “first big haircut” experience. As a first time client I am very, very impressed— I couldn’t believe how affordable her rates were for the high quality of service, and how many great-smelling products she makes herself including the shampoo and conditioner. Lisa also used her hair serum on my daughter’s hair which left it super soft and diminished the usual frizz that can come with curly hair, plus it smells SO good that I couldn’t resist buying some in Sandalwood Vanilla to take home. When she told me my total and it was so much lower than expected, I had to double check that she remembered to add the serum to my bill 😂 Also, my daughter is very shy and played it cool with a poker face the whole time, so I hope Lisa sees this— J has been raving about how fun and sweet you are, how pretty your salon is, and how cool the salt lamps were (I’ll have to get her one!). The whole ambience was soothing, she actually called it “zen” when we got to the car 💕 She loved the calm music and she is obsessed with her new hairstyle. She told me she’s always wanted to have soft hair like this, and now she can’t stop running her hands through it! She’s been beaming with confidence since we left. I’m so proud of her for taking such a leap, and I’m so thankful to have brought her to a stylist with such enthusiasm, empathy, patience, and positive energy! Thank you!
