If I could put zero stars I would. My mom recently saw Lindsey after a change in insurance. My mom has an extensive medical history and fortunately has finally found the appropriate medication and dosage to help lessen her pain and symptoms. She has a degenerative disease and has undergone several surgeries. She had been seeing her previous physician for 10+ years and came to her appointment with all of the medical history as well as statements from her previous doctor who has been incredible in helping my mom manage her disease. Lindsey was 45 minutes late for the appointment. She spent less than 15 minutes with my mom, a new patient. She didn’t bother doing ANY research about her disease. She then proceeded to knowingly fill her 3 a day prescription as a 1 a day. A prescription she has been on for the past 4 years. Even after my moms previous doctor personally called to rectify the situation, Lindsey did nothing until over 2 weeks, and multiple phone calls later while my mom experienced incredible pain. When she finally corrected the prescription, she had the nerve to have the nurse relay the message that my mom was “rushing her during her appointment” when she was 40 minutes behind and my mom had other appointments. And that my mom “talked over her”. My mom is half DEAF per her disease. She then made the awful insinuation that my mom is just seeking drugs. She is taking migraine medicine! I have never heard of such unprofessionalism and lack of empathy from a care provider. To know someone less than 15 minutes, not look at medical history, ignore the information provided from the previous physician, and worst of all- to outright diminish my moms lived experience with her disease by making horrible accusations is downright despicable.
