I had Dr. Zilber years ago and I loved him so when I got a new insurance plan that accepted him I immediately signed on with him and made an appointment for a Physical at his office. I hadn't been to the doctor for quite some time and I was dreading the visit, but I arrived the requested 15 minutes early. My feelings were not unfounded when his nurse practitioner "Sharon" entered the room and made me feel like I was bothering her on her day off or something equivalent to that. She was quizzing me about the "Type" of appointment I made, making it seem as if she didn't have time for a physical exam. I wanted to leave, I didn't want her to touch me or to waste this visit on her, but she begrudgingly insisted on proceeding with the appointment. I was too taken aback to insist on another day. She touched me like I had a communicable disease and I couldn't wait to get out of there. She charged me extra to give me a prescription for a rash on my leg. Thanks, Sharon. My daughter who is 24 yrs old had several experiences like this with Sharon, but I dismissed her, thinking she was being dramatic. Now I feel bad I didn't listen to her. We both switched doctors as fast as possible. I never did get to see my beloved Dr. Zilber, but Sharon is not worth the price. I have Darci now and saw her practitioner "Vicki" for my followup and she was lovely. Sharon would get negative star from me if they had them.
