Angry Mickey Mouse has only bad ratings for all his reviews & really doesn’t say much. When a person doesn’t explain a good reason for their bad review, I personally take it with a grain of salt. PLUS, consider that the bad reviews also were for the labs. I personally haven’t had a problem with PH labs & prefer them to off-site Quest Labs, the current labs that replaced PH labs in Eugene.
Anyhoo, my online rating is waaaay overdue! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Van Scoy’s since 2009 (a record! I’ve never had ANY MD more than 1.5 yrs due to getting disgusted & fed up w/ other MDs! I have only A+++ things to say about this clinic & 2 MDs I’ve gone to here (Dr Van Scoy & Dr Lyon - always friendly & exceptionally caring). Dr. Van Scoy is one of the most even-keeled, genuinely caring & compassionate individuals you could find. AND, unlike most other docs, he’s always ‘present’ & interested and does NOT ever behave like he’s already out the door the moment he comes in the exam room. I can’t tell you how many MDs have that awful behavior! I think this is THE BEST medical clinic, from the friendly front desk to the MD’s nursing assistants and the folks who answer the calls for scheduling and behind the scenes. This clinic is so good that I’ve considered that if I moved away from this area I’d consider keeping this MD and clinic. Dr. Lyons said they actually have some patients that have done that. It’s hard to find a clinic where the MD, nurses and all the support staff are all simultaneously wonderful! The ONLY bad thing is that, at least re: Dr. Van Scoy, and I think Dr. Lyons, they are so popular that they can’t take any more patients because their patients hang onto them, never leave! If that wasn’t the case, I’d be constantly recommending these MDs & this particular clinic.
