Read MoreI visited Dr. Sirotnak in mid-November 2023 because I suffered for years with my tonsils. It got to a point in my life where I didn't know where to turn, and I was dealing with severe halitosis. I had been to a Gastroenterologist and to my dentist many times in search of a cure. I had had a series of blood tests, but to no avail. My gut nor my teeth were the problem. My first visit with Dr. Sirotnak went very well. He heard my concerns, and agreed that I was a good candidate for tonsillectomy. On Dec. 15th, 2023, I went in for my tonsillectomy. It went exactly as Dr. Sirotnak said it would, and there was some soreness up until the two week post-op mark. Yesterday, the 4th of January, I went in for my post-op check and expressed my utmost gratitude for Dr. Sirotnak to both the nurse and to Dr. Sirotnak himself. At this stage in my life, I am in my 40's, I had been dealing with the ill effects of tonsil stones and cryptic tonsils for so many years, and I was beginning to believe that there was no way out from this hell in which I was living- until I found Dr. Sirotnak. I find it disheartening, to say the least, that there are folks that rate the provider based on shortcomings of office staff. That's not fair, and that's not what the review system is designed for. Dr. Sirotnak is empathetic, frank, sincere, explains everything very well, and is very well-deserving of my five-star review, as he treated me with respect, dignity, and treated me like all providers should treat their patients. He is the epitome of a caring provider. If any of my family or friends should ever need the care of an ENT, I will undoubtedly refer them to Dr. John Sirotnak III. He has given me my life back, and I will be forever grateful. Thank you, Dr. Sirotnak. I'd also like to thank his staff at 3 West Olive St. in Scranton. They are wonderful too!
