If something feels off with your current dentist—and your teeth feel like the “weak link” in your body—I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kim.
I started seeing Dr. Kim last year after struggling for a long time with ongoing dental issues. I had been with the same dentist for over 20 years, but something just didn’t feel right anymore. I knew I needed a fresh perspective, someone who could look at my teeth not just in terms of cavities and cleaning, but as part of a whole-body system.
Dr. Kim was highly recommended by my periodontist, so I paid out of pocket for her evaluation, knowing she didn’t take insurance. And I’m so glad I did. She noticed subtle but important things about my previous dental work—things I had long questioned myself but that other dentists overlooked. It was incredibly validating to hear a professional confirm what I had been sensing in my own body.
I’m now in a unique and empowering position where I see both Dr. Kim and a second dentist. They’re both supportive of my choice to work with each of them, without any ego or pressure—just true patient-centered care. I go to the second dentist for cleanings and minor procedures (which are covered by insurance), and I choose Dr. Kim for treatments that require her deeper expertise—even if they cost a bit more.
So far, Dr. Kim has fixed seven of my teeth, and her attention to detail is exceptional. She offers the kind of care that goes far beyond the standard training most general dentists have.
Every time I sit in her chair, I feel a deep sense of trust. The energy in her office is peaceful, respectful, and warm. And yes—Dr. Kim herself is not only extremely knowledgeable but also a kind, thoughtful, and beautiful person inside and out.
I’m so happy I made the decision to see her.
