At both locations, Alcott and Paterson, I’ve had pretty universally good-excellent experiences. I’ve been shown a ton of kindness when I was unprepared or even unsure of what exactly I needed from my visit. If I tell them that something feels urgent to me, or I give my symptoms (even as an addict in recovery) they give me genuine, thorough, and as urgent as possible treatment. Helping the massive amount of Medicaid patients in a city like Kalamazoo is a big undertaking, and I’m really grateful that we have facilities like this. They’ve always done right by me and treated me with respect and empathy.
