Jake is an exceptionally competent and caring healthcare professional. While Dr. Chamberlin has been my primary doctor for the past two decades, I required a pre-surgical clearance and Jake had an opening that fit my immediate schedule.
During my visit, Jake conducted a thorough and comprehensive exam, including blood work, an ultrasound, X-rays, and an EKG. In most cases, these results are simply forwarded to the surgical team as routine protocol. However, Jake went above and beyond.
He noticed an anomaly on my EKG and immediately brought it to my attention, recommending a cardiology consult before surgery. Fortunately, I had enough time to schedule the consult, and my cardiologist was genuinely impressed. He remarked that Jake must have a highly trained eye for detail—catching something that even seasoned cardiologists might have missed!
In the end, this discovery didn’t delay my surgery, but it gave me peace of mind knowing that a potential future issue had been addressed.
