I came in with pneumonia. I needed healthcare, they denied me treatment. Evidently, the Nurse Practitioner has an allergy to smoke. On the hindsight that I had smelled like something that resembled smoke, I do not smoke, nor do i smoke in facilities. They discriminated me by saying that they can't treat me because I smell like smoke. This rude, overweight MA had a bad attitude. She didnt even bother to take my blood pressure, she ignored me during the whome encounter and seemed like she was having a bad day. I asked her about the apparent "medically diagnoses allergy". She said, "I don't know, you're gonna have to ask her, Sir." I said, "okay, Ma'am." This MA blew up on me saying, "okay, you know what? We can just do a tele-visit, we're not gonna see you!" I told them I just needed help. I tried to reason with the manager, but she was very persistent on using her no smoking policy. They denied me healthcare and refused to treat me. I feel so discriminated and worse than I did before I needed help..
