He's an excellent doctor and the practice is efficient, effectively and friendly. He is responsive and I appreciate his "everything in moderation" approach to medicine. He will recommend what is needed but will work with his patients who want to pursue other options. Also, Wait times are low, which is rare.
My only reason for a less than Excellent rating regards a practice we enountered when having to move to other practices. The practice doesn't except HMOs so we moved elsewhere when our employment situations changed and we were not able to "buy up" to the higher-priced coverages that the practices accepts. To add insult to injury, the practice charged us $25/each to transfer our records to our new doctors - like being kicked when we were down!
So, if you have great insurance or can afford the higher-premiums of non-HMO options, this is a good practice. However, I admit we felt we got "fleeced" by the transfer charges that seemed unduly nit-picky after our long relationship there. I have a sour feeling right now that could prevent me from returning even if I had the financial capability to do so.
