He did an X-ray, pulled on he broken finger, put a splint on it, and assured us that our daughter can follow this ER visit in 2 weeks at the specialist' s office, and no extra care is needed, "the finger would heal on it's own." Contrary to his advice we went to specialist in Roanoke immediately who said that if the surgery is not done very soon, my daughter can lose the mobility of 3 of her fingers, because she broke her finger in 2( and not one) places and a muscle was pulling a part of her bone out of the alignment. Had we listened to Dr Nesbit's advice, my daughter could of lost the mobility of 3 of her fingers!!!! We need to get better doctors in the ER. Thanks
