I just moved to the Twin Cities from Dallas. I had thyroid cancer 6 years ago and require ongoing monitoring. I am writing this review because I never got to see Dr. Katz. I called the number provided online, and the person (operator/receptionist?) who answered said I first needed a referral, despite having PPO insurance. I called my endocrinologist back in Dallas to provide this referral along with my medical information to the fax number Dr. Katz' receptionist provided. I then called Dr. Katz' office again. They said they never received the referrral, and actually the fax number provided earlier is not as good for receiving referrals. I had my information sent yet again to the second fax number they gave me. Didn't hear anything for a week. Called back. They didn't receive it. They gave me a THIRD, different fax number, and I gave up. Really doesn't seem like this group has their stuff together, and I am worried about where my medical information ended up since the operator kept providing a different fax number each time I called. Not very professional and anxiety inducing for someone who is reliant on med refills to stay alive.
