This practice consisted of friendly and competent staff. Visited for a 'trigger finger.' Basic health history given at registration (note: the touch pad was tedious to use for patients & staff, vs. handwriting the intake or use of a keyboard); from there, five more staff interacted with me: another, more comprehensive intake was taken; a touch sensation test was conducted; an x-ray was completed; a PA discussed the condition and today's treatment; and then a doctor applied lidocaine spray, and administered a cortisone injection.
I commented that one doesn't suffer for lack of attention in this office. Was pleased to learn of the high likelihood of success for the more conservative treatment of the (up to 3) cortisone injections with follow-ups, or that a tendon sheath release will be done if needed. Staff explained the procedures, expected outcomes, and each took time to answer my questions. A word of caution: don't exercise a trigger finger.
