Laurie then replies rudely “ you’re not a patient here!” I said “ ok didn’t know I had to be just trying to get a routine colonoscopy. Laurie rudely again said “ well when you get your referral we’ll make an appointment!” I advised my insurance plan didn’t require me to get a referral. Laurie again rudely said “ well if you want to be seen here you’ll get the referral!” It wasn’t an issue about getting the the referral it was how she yelled it. Me working for the insurance company for over 20 years if your plan didn’t require a referral you didn’t need to get one. I said ok no problem I’ll get the referral, but may I speak to someone else, Laurie again rudely stated she was the only person there, I could hear other ppl in the offices, she then disconnected the phone. I called a different office and receptionist was the total opposite of angry Laurie! I have never experienced rudeness from a receptionist in my life! I hope her doctor knows she could be killing his business! Listen out for the name “ LAURIE”
