From the moment you walk in, you start to relax. Set in an already picturesque Auburn building, where you walk along a rustic, tree lined second floor balcony to get to the entrance, Focused Touch has aesthetic down to the very first steps you take towards it.
Once inside, Alex will greet you with warm professionalism while taking a genuine interest in your bodywork goals as she inputs them into your chart. The decor is clean, organized & spa like, & in the air hangs notes of essential oils & luxurious body treatments.
The massage itself is strong & highly skilled as Alex works her magic on your most painful trouble spots, while smoothing over & melting into the entire targeted areas. Add one such as hot stones (which I hadn't tried before this), cupping and more are readily available andcompetitively priced.
Alex herself is kind, funny & fantastic listener. She makes any reasonable accommodations needed & will make you feel at ease, safe & cared for, in a setting that can be intimidating for some (as I was until going here).
I have fibromyalgia and I teach pole fitness, so there are no days off from pain for me. However, after a good Alex session, I've actually been able to forget about my meds for several hours longer than I can usually go.
I can't recommend this woman or this place enough!
