Expansive facility that’s so big I don’t think I got to see everything. There’s so much to do here you could make this a vacation destination all on its own by booking the hotel rooms. Love the Tom of Findland artwork throughout. The indoor pool and hot tub are incredible. Staff are great, some of the nicest we’ve encountered. We’re definitely planning a trip back in the future.My only complaint is that’s it’s almost too cavernous, especially in the play areas. I’d make sure you come on a busy weekend or else it might feel empty. Also the dry saunas could have been hotter.

THE BIGGEST BATHHOUSE IN NORTH AMERICA !!!This place used to be an old Greyhound bus station HQ, and it’s really interesting to see the industrial details within the architecture.2 levels: the indoor swimming pool, hot tub, dry sauna, wet sauna, outdoor swimming pool, and locker rooms are located on the first floor. All the fun rooms are located upstairs :) it’s truly like a maze that lets you wander/explore/and meet like minded patronsThe prices are very reasonable for a bathhouse facility. $20 includes locker and membership on the weekday. Check for weekday specials. Fri/Sat night is basically an Afters. Even Sunday they have free burger and hotdogs for all the hungry DaddiesThe boys who run this facility are so lovely. For how big the facility is, it’s always spotless. Be nice to them. Don’t be a drunken a-holeDid I mention the indoor pool is finally open? It’s like you’re in an all male oasis. Go check it out if you’ve always been curious. It’s an absolute pleasure having an establishment like Flex Cleveland servicing the community*below is a pic I snapped on Hamilton Ave facing East on 16th St. If you see the Big Flex sign, you know you’re close :)

I stopped by Flex on my way home from Cleveland to Cincinnati area. I had heard that the place was run down and "seedy". I wanted to see if I would ever use FLEX for a hotel for future travel. I was pleasantly surprised as to how welcoming the staff was and how clean everything I saw seemed to be. I loved the huge jacuzzi which was so relaxing. The pool was cooler but felt great after overheating in the jacuzzi. I wandered the hallways and rooms on the 2nd floor and discovered different play areas and video theatres. Overall I enjoyed my visit of four hours and I really didn't want to leave to start my journey back to Cincinnati. I am satisfied that I would stay at FLEX in a future trip through Cleveland. The hotel rooms are on the second level with all the other rooms. They are just bigger rooms with larger beds with toilet & shower in some. I definitely will try to stay on my next trip through Cleveland.

YOU NEED TO BRING BACK DARK AREAS FOR PLAY!!! EVERY SPACE IS TOO ILLUMINATED AND COMPLETELY KILLS THE VIBE FOR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING ANONYMITY WHEN PLAYING. THE PROJECTOR IN THE GLORYHOLE ROOM IS THERE FOR WHAT?? IDK WHY MANAGEMENT TOOK DOWN THE STRUCTURE THAT WAS IN THERE, AS IT WAS A HOT AREA FOR ACTION! THE JACUZZI IS BROKEN EVERY OTHER WEEK AND YOU CANT EVEN FOOL AROUND IN IT IF YOU WANTED TO. IDK WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THAT THEY HELD A LIVE PERFORMANCE TO ENTERTAIN GUESTS?! THE MUSIC SELECTION COULD BE BETTER, ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEKENDS. JUST BRING BACK OLD MANAGEMENT, CUZ THE NEW PEOPLE AREN'T LISTENING. SAVE YOUR FUNDS AND JUST HIT UP THE APPS YALL.

My best friend and I came here for my birthday weekend. I called and made a hotel reservation. The level of professionalism made us feel very welcomed. The pool and spa area along with the gym was impressive and imacuately clean. The staff was so helpful in letting us “out of towners” know of good restaurants to go at. The city of Cleveland has a lot of construction downtown but that didn’t impair our mini vacation. Thank you to all the staff at the Flex for an amazing experience. WE WILL BE BACK!

Each & every time I go here coming in from western NY, I end up extending my stay, if that tells you something!Yes, its a bathhouse & it comes with all which that entails; attractive & unattractive traits & people, slow times & mind-blowing times, areas perfect & areas not so, or off limits at that time, or cordoned off for cleaning or remodeling on that specific day. In this last visit, I was very disappointed with the place, since they did not mention before the entrance that the Turkish room was under repair, reason why the price should be more economical, plus they make the repairs with chemicals that smell and one as a customer is exposed since it is a place where clothes are not used.They should take into account all this before opening, and also that all the showers are working, if the services are not working at all it is better to close the place until it is fully repaired.

Been coming for years and have seen significant improvements in recent times. Most people think of it as a place for fun encounters, but it is a great place for simply relaxing. The facility is large and has great amenities. I come with my partner to simply enjoy the pools and hot tub. We have met nice people who travel considerable distances just to visit this unique establishment.

Been attending this place for a year now. I am personally part of the younger 20-something crowd. While the age of the building shows, and the history of past management causes a headache for the now, I have seen nothing but improvement.I was originally terrified of going after hearing horrible things (mainly about past management and the old lication) from past employees. But a bunch of friends and I were curious enough to try it out and heard/read about there being new management since covid and went on a slow day to check it out. We (a party of 12) were greeted by the friendly staff, given a rundown and even the assistant manager gave us a tour of the entire facility.Since then all but one of us returns regularly and I've brought close to 40 people total here in the last year and they all come back. So I think that says a lot about the place. Sure there's the bumps here and there with stuff being down, but even at my $120/month gym has issues like that from time to time.It's a bathhouse, so definitely do your research on the culture around them before attending if you're unaware. And know that consent is still enforced by staff. I'm panromantic and demisexual so the hookup type of thing isn't 100% for me but a nice affordable summertime pool where clothes aren't needed is awesome.So tl;dr: Great place, friendly staff that puts up with no nonsense, and constant improvements. Definitely worth the visit if you're in town.Rooms: Note as with most places of those type, there is weekend and weekday pricing so do your research.Nearby activities: Not a far drive from most Cleveland attractions.Food & drinks: They (as or writing this) offer complementary food on Sunday afternoon for guests.

Unfortunately the biggest claim to fame of this bathhouse - that it's supposedly the largest one anywhere - is also it's biggest flaw. It's so cavernous that there's the feeling that it's deserted. I went on a weekend evening and there was no action at all. Just random people walking around. As per usual at bathhouses, there were 1 or 2 model-quality guys walking around as if they were runway models but not doing anything except being eye candy. There is a gigantic steam room which is laid out like a maze. It has great potential - but, again, no people in it. The check in and out were also kind of awkward. The vibe was not especially welcoming.

Have been going to Flex ever since it 1st opened back in the mid 2000. Remember the smell of the new pink sculptured carpets Was so impressed to go to something so huge and new. Well after all those years, the place was starting it's downfall and 4 years ago, I said, no more. Why spend all the money and travel when I could find those conditions at any bath in any city. Then a buddy of mine from Cleveland told me it was under new management and they were going thru lots of changes. So last Friday I decided to check it out and make the drive from Detroit. I called early and made a reservation for a hotel room with Allen who was very cheerful for being so early in the morning. Once I arrived I noticed a difference right away. I think it was the smell, so fresh and clean and the experience just kept getting better from there. I had the most enjoyable time and where else can you rent a hotel room and open the door to all those amenities all while being naked! Now I can rephrase myself and say "I will be back" the community of Cleveland should be thankful they have a safe, clean place to have fun.. Shout out to the new management crew and way to go Flex Cleveland 👍😎

Tried to get a workout in but misplaced my license. Told guy at front desk and he rolls his eyes like a you know what and goes to manger who points at sign like I’m slow talking about how people change info on pictures of their license. Smh just take my money and let me work out. Never again tried giving it a shot even when reading the bad reviews now here I am leaving a bad review

First time here from Michigan... pretty impressed with this place...the only thing that I can suggest to management is to clean the steam room and upstairs shower room better! Has a smell to it. Menthol spray and disinfectant of course...and a good scrub! Overall- pretty impressed with the place overall. Flex Atlanta is also pretty amazing. Most relaxed I've been in a while! Hot tub, pool, hot sauna, dry sauna and a VERY nice building... Mix of people, very friendly staff and a very comfortable atmosphere. I recommend this bath house as it is one of the better ones in the country. Keep up the good work flex. There needs to be more flex's around the country.

I'm new to gay bathhouses, but after my friend introduced me to Flex last month, I enjoyed going there. However, yesterday night, an incident occurred that was unexpected and shocking at the same time. Since Flex isn't busy on weekdays, two white, bulky guys with tattoos one must be aged around 35 with beard and other 45 to 50 clean shaven (couple) and were stalking me and trying to approach me. I initially rejected them, but later because it wasn't busy, I agreed to go in with them because they frequent the facility. Every time I've been there, I've seen them very frequently, so after entering their room, one person kept me talking to him, while another claimed he wanted to walk down to the restroom. I nodded, thinking of my keys as it was missing from the table I kept, and ran downstairs to my locker, where I discovered the other man was stealing my cash and credit cards from my wallet. I quickly caught him and took my wallet from him, and he just fled, saying I thought it was my husband's locker. Dude, why would you need a locker when you have a room? I asked. And he simply fled. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk staff, and they took immediate action. They noticed the cameras and went upstairs to speak with them. I was mentally stressed as a result of the incident when I returned home. Later, I learned from someone else that those guys had been escorted out by the police and were no longer allowed to enter Flex. I am grateful to the Flex team for taking this swift action as it is necessary to ensure everyone's safety and that people are aware of and safe from such people.

First visit. Went with friends. Reasonable rates. The TV in the small room was mounted at an angle that you could only see from standing. The shower/wet area was closed from 8am until 130pm for some reason. Very loud continual gentleman on the loud speaker calling numbers that were due to check out with a threatening message everything. Other than feeling as if that employee wanted everyone to leave, the rest of the staff were amazingly friendly and funny. In the hotel room however, we never had toilet paper and had to ask for clean towels. Twice, about 10 hours apart, someone opened the door with a key stating, "room check"We were told after bringing it to their attention that it was not any employee and there seemed to be little concern that someone had a key to the rooms doing whatever they were.lolMy friend was shocked on the not marked out of order yet plugged in tanning bed and the dry sauna downstairs was out of order. The wet sauna has a smell that I could not tolerate. The pool seemed a bit dirty and chilly. It seems also the towels in the rooms are much nicer than those given to lesser rooms as one was thick and plush and one was thinning and worn with a few holes.One final note, the gentleman with threats about linen procedure on the loud speaker made things very confusing when clients were told to leave the dirty linens in their rooms that afternoon while he was staying the fines for doing so.I enjoyed my stay. But it won't be a destination spot for me.

My partner comes to Flex regularly and loves it. He is a bi male and I am a bi female and he loves having this place to come, relax and do what people do here.However I find myself a tiny bit jealous that I can never join him, as we enjoy playing with other bi men together and honestly who doesn't love a nice pool and hot tub? We do somewhat regularly travel to the bathhouse in a nearby city for their Thursday evening all gender night and enjoy going there. But we've met many other couples/non-binary/trans people there who also travel from Cleveland for this event so it seems there would be a lot of interest in events like this in Cleveland. So I thought perhaps I'd put it out there to see if this is something Flex might consider doing occasionally?I recognize the need for it to generally be a place exclusively for men, but feel like doing this type of event once a month or every once in a while might be a great way to introduce more bi men to Flex and bring more people in on nights that are otherwise not busy.Thanks for your time and for giving my partner this place to blow off steam.

Love that whirlpool. Great fitness area. Steamroom maze is nice too. Clean too.I like the day and afternoon shift employees. However the late night staff is downright NASTY to their customers. Every time i go late night i find the employees to be condescending if not downright hateful. Other than the late night crew i rate it 5 stars. Avoid the late night staff at all costs. They are not friendly

How is this place still open? Rude employees are consistently hired...building repairs haven't been made in 3 years... there is a ceiling leak in the gym that is still leaking into a bucket after two and a half years. I'm afraid of catching Legionnaires disease in the water pool or sauna area. This place could be really nice if they got rid of their staff and revamp the entire place. In four years I have been three times and there is never anyone there.

They advertise "Leather & Bears" night and encourage people to dress in leather gear. I went as I was interested in leather guys. I wore my leather gear only to be informed that we can't wear it and we have to be in towel. Huh? I pointed this out to the front desk but they would not refund the money.What's the point of telling the public that leather gear is encouraged only to find out that it isn't? False advertising.Plus--I'm disappointed to say this but "Leather & Bears" night is a flop.Facilities were good as always but I am giving a One-star due to this experience in regards to this event. Very disappointing.

I had another "first" today. I was planning on meeting friends today at Flex for a day of relaxation. Upon checkin I was notified that I have been placed on a "banned list" from Flex by the manager. I hadn't attended Flex since last fall but have been a long-time supporter of the facility for over a decade. I was told that I was banned because of an "incident" in the fall. The only incident that happened in the fall was that I had completed an online Yelp review after my visit in the summer of '17. At the time of that visit I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness of the facility (towels scattered in the hallway, pool area, video rooms, etc.), used condoms on the floor, and showers, commodes, and urinals that were broken and not working. It was also a day that Flex was promoting a free noon barbecue meal for all (if memory serves me right it was Independence Day weekend). The individual on duty that day only grilled 6 burgers and 1 package of hot dogs and there were many more men there than that would adequately feed. When the cook was asked if he would be grilling more his answer was "no" and once these were gone they were gone.The reason I had even considered doing the review was that I had been told that Flex had recently been purchased and was under managememt. These conditions were so far removed from the Flex that I had visited numerous times each year during the last decade or so.I would have thought the new ownership would have appreciated an honest review of their facility and maybe all of these things I had experienced were an anomaly. In fact i sent a separate courtesy email to the manager to make him aware i had made that review on Yelp. I did eventually receive a follow-up email from the manager where he essentially told me he would be checking into my concerns and asked me to provide him with my name and contact information so he could do a followup. Apparently my providing him with that information is what was needed for his banning me. At no time was I told or notified by him that I was now banned from Flex.I spent an entire career working with the public and I understand that sometimes that can be challenging. If the new owners only want "positive" reviews then they are selling their business and employees short. Constructive criticism, in my opinion, is invaluable. It's often those "wake up calls" that lead us to reevaluate the way we are doing business.I was disappointed that I wasn't able to go to Flex today. I had heard things had gotten better and I was willing to again spend my hard-earned money and see for myself. Unfortunately, the management apparently didn't see fit for that to happen and my only recourse is to talk with him when he comes back to work on Monday. I live 4 1/2 hours away from Cleveland and am only here for the weekend so meeting him is not a possibility.

Changing from previous 5 star rating to a 1 star after my past couple of visits over the last 4-6ish weeks. Always had a good time here over the past year of frequent visits. So my visits about 6 weeks ago, went alright. However, my room was not just dirty, but trashed. Cig butts, wrappers, visible smears on wall. TVs all seem to have missing buttons and angled to where you can't even really see them (if they do even work). I used the provided sheet and cases and use my towel on the bed mat. Left with probably two dozen bug bites (I'm extra allergic and swell up on just 1 and I had two dozen) all on my which was against the covered bed mat. Not even sure what it ever wws that bit me so many times. They lasted at least a week, we're very irritating, and made the that week miserable. Relied on many antiinflammatories, allergy meds , aloe, witch hazel, and topical cooling benadryl. The worst part, upon checking out of that visit with the assistant manager who usually works the front desk during 1st shift. White dude with a little chub to him, black hair-rudely informed me that my driver's License was simply .... Missing. Had ME go ask his workers what could have happened to it, all while doing nothing and just assuring me it wasn't his fault. I left my number with him, and left without my ID that day. (Which I had just gotten that week after getting my wallet with my SS and I'd stolen, made it complicating to get). Anyhow, I get a text a week later from a maitnence employee, saying my ID was brought back by a man who surely was expecting to get his but ended up with mine. (He was an older man in 60s vs me who is 23) I was told I had to come pick it up even though I live over an hour away and asked if it could bee mailed, even offered to send an envelope with the postage already on it....but nope. So I drive up there and got it, thought I'd stay for a. Little bit while I was up there it went OK. Left. And just last week after not going for a month or so, went and got a room. When I first arrived, the front desk at night was sleeping. I rang bell, best on glass. Went back to my car. Came back in. Tried it all over again. Took me probably 15 minimin to wake him up. Which I've never not once been snarky, unpleasant , or anything like that. However, I fell asleep. That same daytime assistant dude, knocked on my door and instantly uses his keys to enter even though I responded with "yeahh?" And I'm naked of course. All to tell me it was time to check out. I gathered my things and did so after about 15 minutes of that happening. He was really short with me, and told me the next time I come there will "probably" be a late fee on my account because I took 15 mins to get to the front. Something that isn't any policy or anything posted, or mentioned ever, not even other times when I stayed a whole 24 hours without renewal or ever being asked to leave. But just that guy barked that at me, like it was such a horrible thing ggfor him to have to walk back to my quiet room just a locker room away from the front desk. Mind you. NOT ONCE...was I ever apologized to for the ID thing, I never made a fuss about it, or demanded anything for my major inconvenience due to their mess up. And now I'm a good loyal guest, who cleans up and litterally brings Clorox wipes and leaves my room cleaner than when I got there. Never made any request or bothered anyone, or hardly left my room but for a shower or a vending machine stop. And I'm suddenly being treated foul and feeling very unwelcome and offended. Especially by the assistant manager who couldn't even call me when my ID was dropped off, and had a maitnence person text me daysss after on the matter. Therefore, if I ever return it'll be a good while. I could care less about the late fee BS he pulled out of nowhere even though the rooms are far overpriced for having to clean them yourself, clear your own bed, have people disrespect your privacy by barging in with the master key. All I would have appreciated was an apology for the mistake

Went for the first time cuz I was traveling back home to Cleveland and my friend was the driver. Our last bar we went to my friend, who I love dearly, was reunited with another group of friends who were doing shots at the bar and slinging back drinks. Since he was the DD I told him we should get a a cab and books room at a motel or a B&B. He said he had a membership to Flex where a private room, hot tub, pool, gym, all await us. Cool! I'm in! I love hotels. When I get there this was not a hotel.

Went there with a friend in December 2019. When we went to leave they asked how we got in and how we got a key for the room and locker. They were going to charge us again. You have to be buzzed in then pay up front for the room and locker to get the keys. We paid cash that night. I was ready to call 911 if they wouldn't let us leave if we didn't pay again. So watch out for that. If i didn't have this experience i would have given them 5 stars.

I've never liked FLEX that much. The newer Club, now demolished, was much nicer and more right sized. Flex is too big and cavernous for the number of patrons. So it feels empty even when there's 50 people there. They keep trying to make it more appealing, but they should add more private booths, private slings instead of all the public stuff people are less apt to use.

Went to FLEX tonight after work, greeted politely and went to my locker 48, placed my wallet, phone, and attire in there and locked it up, i walked around not even 10 minutes came to the locker room to find the front desk clerk in my locker, clearly stating it was unlocked, finally realizing I'm the only customer there, come to also find out my money is missing from my wallet and the desk clerk playing dumb, I have been to FLEX numerous times and never had a single issue until tonight. It's sad we use our hard earned money to have a little fun and relax, to have their so called employees just steal it from our wallets, I am simply disgusted by this. And to have the front desk clerk straight up lie to my face! I'm appalled that the LGBTQ community can't even enjoy a simple night without be targeted by THIEVES!

Still many things are broken but are finally (sort of?) in the process of repair. The hot tub still smells BAD due to the heat being too low and the jets not working to disrupt the surface water (since people cant apparently read they need to SHOWER before getting into the hot tub, having the heat low and jets not working just promotes the bad smell). At times the music is too loud. Their porn selection is also severely bad. Just about every TV has weird, extreme kink type S&M going on. Last thing I want to see is some guy tied up in the air, bleeding and bruised with a bunch of random items clipped all over him while getting punched in the dick and pissed on by some other dude. Also seems to be no ethnic porn.....
