I saw Dr Pantoja for years at the same office and I was very satisfied since he was also very professional and I will never forget how he worked hard to gave me a diagnosis. Javadi increased the dose of my medicine and wanted to put me on Prednisone when I mentioned that I developed Diabetes after the second time I was put on Prednisone, I guess she didn’t take the time to check my record. She mentioned also about having me had an ultrasound and a biopsy. They were never done. After about almost 2 months after that appointment she had a nurse calling me and ask me to stop the medication that she increased the dosage. No new lab work results, no biopsy, no ultrasound and NO explanations about what made her change her mind. When you see her, she hardly sees you at your eyes , constantly writing little notes , never saw her checking on my record in the computer. When I asked her about her reasoning for having me stop the medicine, she said to me to just forget about the past and if I wanted to keep taking the medicine to go to see another doctor, I explained that it wasn’t like that since that medicine lower my defenses but was protecting my liver from being attacked by my own body. I was told that from the beginning. She was rude, NO Empathy! This last time I decided to wait and see what changes I was going to have after Lab Work! After the tests I had an appointment with her and I said that Liver Fibrosis test was not ready because the Lab I go , they won’t do it and I had to call my insurance to get approved to go to the other Lab. She didn’t care, when I asked her when do I need to go back, she said to me “I AM DONE WITH YOU “ those were her exact words. I was in shock. I said something like, but the results of the other tests? And she said call back to get the results. I’ve been trying to get the results but she won’t call me back. Is really Sad to know your health and probably your life depends on a Doctor like this. I’m also very concerned and frustrated to know Dr Pantoja put me on her hands and didn’t even ask me before making that decision. Due to a lot of health issues I have seen many doctors and do have a lot of respect for them, that’s why I’m still in shock, I still can understand her attitude and behavior!
