Read MoreTOP TIER dental care for my child with extreme anxiety, ADHD & ODD. I've struggled with getting my daughter to brush her teeth, let alone dental care. Due to her tearful meltdowns, panic attacks and noncompliance, she's been kicked out of every dental office I've tried, her entire childhood. She is now a teenager with major restorative needs. To complicate things, most dental offices refused to sedate her in office due to her allergic reactions, asthma and age. She was too old for Children's Mercy hospital and other pediatric settings, but too young for other sedation dental care. I was losing hope to help her. I was referred to Dr. Fales. His contracted anesthesia team are highly competent in providing safe sedation in office for my child to finally get major restore dental care. Dr. Fales did fantastic restorative work! His assistants made my daughter feel safe and I knew she was in the very best hands!
Fast forward, with tears in my eyes I am happy to report my daughter had zero cavities at her 6 month check up. Not only that, she went to the back by herself!! If you knew my child, you'd understand the impact of this huge step! Dr. False and his team finally got through to her that home hygiene is impotant and she followed through with their instructions at home. Plus she felt safe for the first time in her life to go to the back with out me! The hygienist let her take breaks when she needed and that helped her immensely! (Talk about having patience of a Saint!)
On the way home my daughter mentioned she's noticed she is not sick as much as she used to be since her teeth and oral health are healthy. And she's right, she's been much healthier!
Nancy in the office has always been very helpful with sorting the insurance. Her knowledge/experience makes the insurance & billing process much easier for parents!
Dr. Fales and his team are hands down the absolute best for kids with behavior challenges and have made a positive life impact on my child's health and well being. I truly can't thank them enough! 🤍
