Dr. Givens and his PA, Kat Knipper, provided the level of care, professionalism, and expertise that I had been desperately searching for.
When I first met with Kat Knipper, the thing that stood out to me the most was she first asked me how my 5-year-old son was doing. They had performed surgery on him a year earlier and have not needed to see him since. That just showed how much this office is invested in the people that walk through their door, & their level of care doesn't just stop when you leave their office.
Dr. Givens and Kat not only took the time to listen to my concerns, but they also explained my treatment options thoroughly and with compassion. Their approach- from the keloid scar injections to the eventual removal surgery- was thoughtful, precise and clearly rooted in experience.
Dr. Givens and nurse, Heather Clark made me feel so comfortable going into surgery. With both of them knowing the frustration I have, dealing with what I am going through, no questions were left unanswered. They made sure to explain everything in detail as to what and why he was doing what he was doing during the surgery process.
I had a follow up apt this afternoon & Kat Knipper said to me "you are not going through this alone, we are here for you" & that meant so much to me due to my prior experience elsewhere.
Thanks to their care, the difference has been life changing. What once was a source of pain and insecurity has now been properly addressed, and I'm finally on the road to true healing.
