Instead of addressing our legitimate concerns, Dr. Kallumadanda cavalierly remarked, "Who is neglecting her?" When I pressed for details regarding the results, she curtly replied that there were no visible concerns but suggested seeking a second opinion.
Adding insult to injury, when I requested a copy of the results, Dr. Kallumadanda's demeanor turned hostile. She raised her voice in front of my client, displaying a complete lack of professionalism and respect. This behavior is utterly unacceptable from a healthcare professional.
A week later, I was contacted by Adult Protective Services due to a report filed by Dr. Kallumadanda alleging neglect and issues with power of attorney paperwork. Following their investigation, Adult Protective Services found no grounds to continue the case and promptly closed it. Dr. Kallumadanda's unfounded accusations have unfairly tarnished my professional reputation.
As I continue to advocate for my client's well-being under the authority granted by power of attorney, I am deeply committed to ensuring their health and protecting them from exploitation. It is regrettable that Dr. Kallumadanda chose to behave in such a disrespectful manner. I sincerely hope she reevaluates her approach to patient care and treats all individuals with the dignity and consideration they deserve.
