Read MoreI am autistic and require nitrus (laughing gas) before procedures due to large uncontrollable meltdowns. i was told by the assistant to ask him, meaning they do offer nitrus at compass. when i asked him and explained what happens to me usually, he said “we won’t be having that here” and tried to inject my mouth with a needle without my consent. my spouse stopped the situation and we repeated my needs and i stressed the fact i was diagnosed autistic. the reply i got was “i have no doubts about that.” i again asked if i could get nitrus or be referred somewhere that offered it. he angrily stormed out of the room and dropped me as a patient. when the new dentist came in, she told me they do in fact do it and she would do it for me. he was going to blatantly ignore me and lie to me about compass offering nitrus and inject me without my consent. he was angry he was asked to spend a little extra time setting up a gas mask for an autistic person who was visibly shaking and crying. stay clear.
