I never had anyone in customer service treat me this negatively before. More shocking is that the most negative part of my experience came from my interactions with the supervisor.
The only positive aspect that warrants even one star from my experience with this clinic is the initial response from the woman that answered my call. I asked nicely if the clinic could see me for an injury sustained during an auto accident and when was the earliest I could be seen for it. For reference, I've been to different physicians that, without a problem, billed my private insurance after my PIP from my auto insurance was completely exhausted. The woman who answered my call tried her best but simply did not know exactly how to address my request and so, after a lot of back-and-forth, transferred me to her supervisor. This is when my experience with this clinic turned horrible with them.
The supervisor told me, in a condescending manner, as if I were a child, that they could not see me at any point through my private health insurance and a visit for the injury was possible, by law, initially only through my auto insurance. I respectfully informed her that she was incorrect and I am able to use my private health insurance after my PIP from my auto insurance was exhausted. She became belligerent and increasingly irate over the fact that I was respectfully informing her that I was legally able to use my private health insurance in this specific case. She raised her tone even after I asked her to remain civil, as I was just only asking her why the office would not take me, and I asked whether they were either incapable or willingly declining their services to me.
I am incredibly appalled by my experience with the supervisor, as this was the worst experience in any customer service experience I've ever had in my life. Stay away from this clinic if you value and respect yourself, because they surely will not if they believe you are giving them any bit of trouble in their day.
